    Very interesting article indeed, but I’m missing the connection with millennialism.

    I’m using the word after those who would use “chiliasm” more broadly to describe the idea that this world may be perfected, of which it seems to me the phenomenon described in the article is a form.

    Ah, well, that would explain why I didn’t get it. 😉

    Anyway, I always thought that this “Gospel of Mammonism” would be the undoing of us all, and I now have a footnote for that statement. For this I thank you, sir!
