You&#039;ve been through a lot in the church.  It&#039;s a miracle you remained a Christian.  I&#039;ve sat through my fair share of &quot;Harry Potter is evil&quot; &amp; &quot;Obama may be the antichrist&quot; speeches made by church members.  Your experiences at Overlake reinforce my belief that the church deeply needs to know Jesus.  Our lack of relationship with Him is apparent in so many ways.  The apostles testimony was that they saw, heard, &amp; touched the Word of life (1 John 1).  This needs to be the testimony of those who come to church.  If people don&#039;t experience Christ in us, we need to examine to what extent we are living &amp; presenting a biblical fiction.
